Pitti Uomo: the number of Italian buyers increases

Pitti Uomo has gone well this year. The dreadful fall in sales hasn't happened, despite the huge competition of the London Fashion week, which overlaid the initials days of Italian defiles, leaving only one day and half of real attendance. About 21 thousand buyers from 120 countries and more than 30 thousands visitors has gone to most important fashion event for men. This figures are important because they are showing us an important recovery in the fashion industry and some surprisingly purchases came from the Italian market.
American buyers have been the most active, thanks to the recovery of the U.S. economy that allow new investments, but the "stars and strips" visitors were strictly followed by Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Russia and France. Even Italian buyers showed an unexpected 4% growth, after some very difficult seasons for the Italian fashion market.
Pitti emphasized an element the will be more important in the future: flexibility towards customer's needs. Fashion brands are asked to be more elastic and dialogue and faster supply are growing important in a more difficult and global market.
